Department for Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy Gala Night Principal Sponsor
The Department for Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy (DMITRE) is the South Australian Government’s key agency in driving economic prosperity in this State.
DMITRE’s work ensures that South Australia takes advantage of its resources growth by fostering local participation in the sector and expanding our innovation and research capability, positively influencing economic value creation.
Through an industry development role, the department aims to ensure South Australia continues to develop high-value manufactured goods, technologies and services, which locally anchor the economic benefits from our major projects for future generations.
As the principal sponsor of the Gala Launch night, DMITRE congratulates finalists on their outstanding works that richly celebrate our natural history and biodiversity.

Fisher Jeffries Supporting the Waterhouse People's Choice Prize
Fisher Jeffries is proud to be associated with the prestigious Waterhouse Art Exhibition in its 10th year by sponsoring the People’s Choice Award in 2012. As an active contributor to the development of major community and arts initiatives Fisher Jeffries seeks to promote arts projects that promote biodiversity and sustainability.
“We are enthusiastic about the merger of art and environment in order to develop community awareness of history and natural science,” Managing Partner Karen Thomas said. “Sponsoring the Waterhouse People’s Choice prize is a great opportunity for us to assist in engaging members of the community in thinking about art and the natural sciences.”
We urge everyone to visit the Exhibition at the South Australian Museum and cast their vote in the People’s Choice Prize to recognise the outstanding contribution these artists have made with their interpretations of our natural world.
